SMS Concast will upgrade a continuous caster for Henan Jiyuan Iron and Steel in China. The project aims to increase annual billet production capacity to over one million metric tons. It will focus on improving quality for high-carbon and automotive steel grades. The modernized caster is scheduled to begin operation in June 2026.
