Severstal completes hot tests at the upgraded slitting line No. 10 at its Cherepovets Iron & Steel Works in Russia. The modernisation, worth over one billion roubles, replaced around eighty percent of the line's equipment. During testing, the line produced more than six thousand metric tons of cold rolled coils to required standards. Once at full capacity, annual output of specialised products for radiators, appliances, and automotive parts is expected to rise by fifteen thousand metric tons.
