Rizhao Steel in China has implemented a major automation upgrade from Primetals Technologies. The project has automated 95 percent of the steel production process in its meltshop. This "one-button steelmaking" approach uses advanced computer systems to control the complex steps of making steel. The upgrade improves product quality, increases efficiency, and reduces the need for manual operation.
