Jingjiang Yongjin Metal Technology awarded final acceptance certificate to Primetals Technologies for automation system at its cold mill No. 3 in Jiangsu Province, China. The solution features Level 1 & Level 2 automation alongside HD33 medium-voltage drives supplied in partnership alongside Inovance. The modular drives deliver high mill performance, production reliability, & precise speed control enabling tight thickness & flatness tolerances. This marks the first collaboration between Primetals Technologies & Inovance, combining drive technology expertise alongside rolling mill process know-how. Both companies plan to deepen cooperation exploring projects for other mill types. Yongjin specialises in precision cold-rolled stainless steel for architectural, automotive, & electronics applications.
