POSCO's labor union has launched a second partial strike lasting 120 hours. The action began on September 16 at the Pohang and Gwangyang steelworks. Union members demand higher wages and bonuses. Management says accepting all demands would cost too much. The company uses replacement workers to keep production running. This marks the first strike since POSCO was founded in 1968.
