South Korea's POSCO Steeleon has won approval from US appliance maker GE to supply stainless steel sheets that resist fingerprints & stains. It is the first Korean colour-coated steel company to join GE's supply chain. Three POSCO companies worked together for about two years: POSCO made the steel, POSCO International handled shipping & storage in the US, & Steeleon set up high-quality mass production. The sheets will be used on the front of premium refrigerators & other appliances. POSCO Steeleon now wants to sell more in North America
