Nová Huť received semi-finished steel products from Germany’s Benteler Group for trials at its medium section mill. The shipment includes square billets and blooms for producing bars and sections. Nová Huť plans to manufacture OTB threaded and anchor bars from these materials. The trials follow September cooperation with Norway’s 7 Steel Nordic for low-emission billets. Nová Huť manufactures more than 500 different section dimensions for construction and engineering sectors.
