NMDC Limited has commissioned a pellet plant with two million metric tons annual capacity. The plant is located at Nagarnar in Chhattisgarh state. It forms part of a five hundred sixty-six million dollar integrated project. The project includes a fifteen million metric ton per year slurry pipeline. The pipeline spans one hundred thirty-five kilometres from Bacheli to Nagarnar. The plant uses straight grate induration technology. It processes iron ore fines and slimes into pellets.
