German steelmaker Moselstahlwerk has put its electric arc furnace facility in Trier up for sale. The plant can produce approximately 560,000 metric tons of steel annually. It includes a Tenova Consteel electric arc furnace and Danieli continuous caster. KRUDO Industrial will market the facility globally, targeting buyers in India, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. The sale aims to attract producers seeking to expand capacity through acquisition of proven infrastructure.
