LKAB's Senior Vice President for Iron Ore, Michael Palo, has announced his departure from the company. After seven years in the role, he will leave on April 1, 2026, to take up a new position at the mining company Boliden. LKAB's CEO thanked Palo for his significant contributions to the company's development. The firm has now begun the process of recruiting a replacement for this key leadership position.
