Lloyds Metals commissioned a new 360,000 metric tons annual sponge iron plant in Ghugus, Maharashtra. The facility was completed in record time under two years after environmental clearance. This brings the company's total sponge iron capacity to 700,000 metric tons annually. The plant strategically uses the company's own iron ore resources for integrated production.
