JSW Steel reported its highest-ever quarterly production of 7.90 million metric tons of crude steel in Q2 FY26. The company also commissioned India's first 25MW green hydrogen plant for steelmaking. Despite record volumes, net profit declined 25% from the previous quarter. JSW plans to spend approximately ₹20,000 crores in FY26 on expansion and new projects.
