Daido’s Doughty Dexterity: Chita’s Celestial Craftsmanship

Daido Steel completed a new heat treatment, processing, and inspection line for forged steel at its Chita Number Two plant in Japan. The line takes over post-forging processes from the Shibukawa plant. The investment is part of a thirty-six billion yen High Alloy Process Reform Project. Daido aims to obtain Asia’s first prime certification for nickel-based alloys used in aerospace engines. The Shibukawa plant is being transformed into a mother plant for high-alloy melting and forging.
