EU Steel Quota: China’s Chagrin, Castigating Commercial Churlishness
A leading Chinese business group has strongly criticized the EU's new plan for steel import tariffs. The China Chamber of Commerce to the EU called the proposal a dangerous step toward protectionism. It warned the tariffs would disrupt global supply chains and hurt European car and machinery makers. The group urged the EU to avoid such trade barriers.
