A serious accident struck Bokaro Steel Plant when worker Dal Chand Pandit suffered an arm amputation during routine decoupling work. The injured worker was quickly moved to Bokaro General Hospital, where doctors declared his condition stable. Plant management has begun an internal investigation, while labour unions call for safer conditions, regular checks & clearer accountability.
