ArcelorMittal Brasil has approved a BRL 4-5 billion investment for a new cold rolling mill and coating line at its Tubarão plant in Espírito Santo. The project will process hot rolled coils, producing 560,000 metric tons of coated steel annually for automotive, construction, and white goods sectors. Construction starts in 2026, creating 3,000 jobs, with operations beginning in 2030.
