Prodigious Portfolio: AMNSIL's Panoramic Production Plan
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited is developing a greenfield integrated steel plant in Andhra Pradesh's Anakapalli district targeting 8.2 million metric tons annual capacity in Phase-I. The facility will produce six finished products, predominantly hot rolled coils at 5.8 million metric tons annually. The project requires ₹67,345 crore ($8.08 billion) capital investment, 135 million liters daily water from Polavaram canal & recycled sources, & 867 megawatts power. A 244-kilometer iron ore slurry pipeline from NMDC's Bailadila mines in Chhattisgarh will supply raw materials. Environmental management provisions total ₹3,540 crore capital alongside ₹355 crore annual recurring costs.
