Abul Khair Steel has started production at a new high-speed rebar mill in Bangladesh, built by Germany's SMS group. The facility set a world record by rolling steel at 55.04 meters per second. It will produce 1.6 million metric tons of construction steel each year to support the country's growing infrastructure projects. The mill also uses advanced technology to reduce energy consumption and emissions.
