Vale, the Brazilian mining giant, reports a thirty-nine percent jump in net profit for the first quarter of twenty twenty-six, reaching approximately two point six billion US dollars. Higher iron ore shipment volumes and improved prices drive the strong result, with shipments rising nearly ten percent to sixty-nine point six million metric tons. The company's flagship S11D mine in Brazil's Carajás region continues to ramp up, supporting Vale's full-year production guidance of up to three hundred and thirty-five million metric tons.
