Tubacex leads the HY2DEC project, a five point nine million euro Spanish research initiative backed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, bringing together thirteen partners to develop green hydrogen technologies for the steel and ceramics industries. The programme covers hydrogen production, hydrogen-based furnace heating, and carbon dioxide capture across three technology pillars. It achieved the third highest score in Spain's Missions Programme. Results due in twenty twenty-five will provide scalability strategies for industrial deployment across Spain's energy-intensive manufacturing sector.
