Tata Steel signed a research agreement with China’s University of Science & Technology Beijing to develop low-carbon steelmaking technologies. The collaboration focuses on scrap-based steel production, waste valorisation, carbon capture, & product performance. The partnership will use USTB’s pilot facilities to test emerging technologies. The goal is accelerating industrial deployment of sustainable steel processes.
