Tata Steel's Tenacious Triumph: Titanic Turnaround Transcends Travails
Tata Steel reported a 35% jump in consolidated EBITDA to Rs 34,848 crores for the financial year ended March 2026. India operations set new production & delivery records, reaching 23.4 million metric tons & 22.5 million metric tons respectively. However, its Netherlands unit faces potential permit revocation & disclosed going concern uncertainty. The company also commissioned a low-carbon electric arc furnace in Ludhiana, targeting under 0.3 metric tons of CO₂ per ton of steel produced.
