Southern Steel Berhad signed an agreement to acquire Ann Joo Resources Berhad. The deal includes Ann Joo Integrated Steel. Southern Steel will pay a MYR 70 million deposit. The acquisition aims to strengthen upstream operations and create operational synergies. Both companies operate in similar steel manufacturing segments serving Malaysian construction and infrastructure markets.
