South Korea launches a major research & development program to help small & medium-sized businesses cut carbon emissions from aluminium & steel production. The initiative, backed by a total budget of seventy-three million dollars, runs through 2030 & targets the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. Eighteen research projects will receive funding of up to four point one million dollars each. Companies can apply online from May thirteen to May twenty-seven, 2026.
