Spanish special steel maker Sidenor invests more than €13.6 million to modernise its Basauri plant in the Basque Country, focusing on electrification, energy efficiency, and production system upgrades. The plant produces special steels for automotive, engineering, and energy sectors. Sidenor already uses one hundred percent renewable electricity and has co-invested €40 million in solar parks with the Basque Government, making this the latest step in one of Europe's most advanced industrial decarbonisation programmes.
