Severstal has completed a major overhaul at its Cherepovets Iron & Steel Works in Russia. The programme covered five key units, including a converter, ladle furnace, vacuum degassing unit, and two continuous casting machines. The total investment reached approximately eleven point five million US dollars. The overhaul aims to cut downtime, boost efficiency, and raise product quality, keeping one of Russia's most important steel facilities at peak operational performance.
