Saarstahl Ascoval, the French electric arc furnace steelmaker, has signed a long-term supply deal to provide premium steel billets to Germany's Mannesmann Precision Tubes. The agreement supports Europe's push for low-carbon industrial supply chains, as electric arc furnace production emits significantly less CO₂ than traditional blast furnace methods. Both companies are expected to deepen their collaboration on quality & sustainability over the coming years.
