South Korea's POSCO has called for coordinated global action on steel decarbonization, committing thirty-eight point two billion US dollars to its green transition. The company's HyREX hydrogen steelmaking technology targets commercial deployment by the early twenty-thirties. POSCO also launched its green steel brand, POSCO Greenate, to help downstream customers track & reduce the carbon footprint of their steel supply chains.
