Maanshan Iron & Steel contracted Primetals Technologies for a sophisticated continuous caster capable of producing 2.37 million metric tons annually. The bow-type facility features advanced automation including Smart Mold technology & DynaWidth adjustment systems. Commissioning is scheduled for late 2026 in Anhui province, continuing a partnership dating from the 1990s between the companies.
