Lloyds Metals & Energy Limited has commissioned its second iron ore pellet plant at Ghugus in Maharashtra, significantly expanding its raw material production capacity. The new plant supports the company's target of reaching ten million metric tons of annual crude steel production. The expansion strengthens vertical integration across the full steel value chain, from iron ore mining in Gadchiroli to finished steel, giving the company a structural cost advantage in India's fast-growing steel market.
