Libya's Libyan Iron & Steel Company completes the commissioning of a new cold rolling mill at its Misurata complex. The mill, implemented by Turkish firm Partner Teknik, adds two hundred thousand metric tons of annual cold-rolled coil and strip capacity. The project strengthens Libya's ability to produce higher-value flat steel products domestically, reducing reliance on imports. It marks a major step in Libya's post-conflict industrial revival and manufacturing modernization.
