Liberty Galați’s insolvent steel mill gets a second auction chance on June 19. The court slashed the starting price to €444 million from €709 million after no bids in March. Pipe assets cost €19 million extra. Five investors had toured but fled due to high valuation. A Czech debt dispute clouds the sale, but administrators appeal. The plant employs 3,500.
