Kazakhstan's Karaganda Kindles Coke's Catalytic Crucible
Kazakhstan has signed a deal to build its first modern metallurgical coke plant in Karaganda, backed by a $134.13 million investment. The plant, developed by Kazakhstan Success Coking Energy, will produce up to one million metric tons of coke annually by 2031. The project will create five hundred permanent jobs & reduce the country's reliance on imported coke. It marks a major step in Kazakhstan's push to add industrial value to its vast coal resources.
