Jingye (Yingkou) is upgrading its wire rod line with SMS group. The modernization expands the product diameter range to 5-25 millimeters. It achieves a record rolling speed of 115 meters per second. The upgrade features MEERdrive®PLUS independent-drive technology for precision control. Production will include high-value specialty steels for automotive applications. Commissioning is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
