Hydnum Steel is building a green hydrogen-powered steel plant in Puertollano, Spain, backed by up to one billion euros in investment. The facility targets two point six million metric tons of flat steel production annually by twenty thirty, using hydrogen from renewable energy instead of fossil fuels. Technology partners include Siemens, Primetals Technologies, Abei Energy, and Russula. The plant will supply premium steel grades to the automotive and electric vehicle sectors, making it one of Europe's most ambitious green industrial projects.
