Vietnam's largest steelmaker opened a new pipe plant in Long An province with 300,000 tons of initial capacity. The facility uses Italian and German technology to produce for construction and agriculture. Hoa Phat plans to expand to 1 million tons, targeting exports to the US, Europe, and Australia. The plant created 500 jobs and strengthens Vietnam's position in regional manufacturing.
