HBIS Tangsteel started up its fourth Primetals Technologies slab caster. The plant now holds eight strands with 9.6 million metric tons annual capacity. New technologies improve slab surface quality & reduce breakouts. Automation systems optimize cooling, soft reduction, & cut lengths for higher yield. This marks the tenth collaboration between the two companies.
