H Acero's Hydrogen Harbinger: Basque Steel's Bold Breakthrough

Spain's H Acero project is developing green hydrogen technology for the steel industry, led by Sarralle in the Basque Country. The three-year initiative has a budget of eight-point-nine million euros & brings together fourteen organizations including ArcelorMittal, Sidenor, CELSA, & leading research institutions. The project covers four areas: equipment development, hydrogen-resistant refractory materials, green hydrogen production, & process optimization. Sarralle's partnership GTT's Elogen adds proton exchange membrane electrolysis technology for on-site green hydrogen generation at steel plants.
