The global geothermal energy market is valued at sixty-six point nine billion dollars in 2025 and is growing at five point five percent annually through 2035. Three main technologies, dry steam, flash steam, and binary cycle plants, extract the Earth's heat to generate clean, round-the-clock electricity with near-zero carbon emissions. Japanese companies Toshiba, Mitsubishi, and Fuji Electric supply over seventy percent of the world's geothermal turbines, while new enhanced geothermal systems technology is set to unlock clean power from hot dry rock at virtually any location on Earth.
