Feralpi Stahl is expanding its Riesa plant in Saxony, Germany, from one million to one-point-three million metric tons of annual steel capacity. The growth is driven by a new Danieli spooler rolling mill, inaugurated in May 2025, now operating on two shifts. Three-shift operations are planned from 2027. The company, one of only two German steel plants holding the European Union's top environmental certification, is also investing in scrap processing and energy infrastructure to support the expansion.
