Europe's Exasperated Entreaty after American Adjudication

The European Commission requests clarification from Washington after the United States Supreme Court upholds presidential tariff authority under Section 232. The ruling validates 25% steel & 10% aluminum duties imposed since 2018. European steel exports to America have declined substantially under the tariff-rate quota system. The decision eliminates judicial pathways to relief, forcing Europe to pursue diplomatic solutions. Retaliatory tariffs on American bourbon, motorcycles, & agricultural products remain in effect pending resolution.
