Danieli has secured its ninth Special Bar Quality mill order in India, selected by Ramsarup Industries, a subsidiary of Shyam Metallics & Energy, for its Kharagpur Works plant in West Bengal. The new combination mill will produce six hundred thousand metric tons of special steel long products annually, including wire rod, bar-in-coil, and straight bars. It uses the latest Danieli Morgårdshammar technology and advanced automation systems. Plant startup is scheduled for early 2027.
