BHP is diverting iron ore cargoes to Malaysia & Vietnam after China halted purchases. Shipments of its Jimblebar blend are being redirected due to a contract dispute with China's state buyer. This has caused BHP's stockpiles at Chinese ports to skyrocket by over three hundred and sixty percent. The miner is now offering larger discounts to sell its ore in these new markets.
