ArcelorMittal is supplying its XCarb recycled steel grades to Daimler Truck's reEconic project, a 33-partner initiative exploring circular-economy principles in heavy-duty vehicles. A TÜV-certified study projects that up to 80% of key materials, including steel, aluminium, glass, & plastics, could come from circular sources. The project reflects growing pressure from European Union emissions regulations, which require truck manufacturers to cut CO₂ emissions by 45% by 2030.
