ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India has commissioned a new automotive steel production line at its Hazira plant in Gujarat. The facility produces advanced high-strength steel grades for vehicle manufacturers across India. The investment, valued at up to $420 million, targets India's growing automotive flat steel market. It reduces the country's dependence on imported automotive steel, supporting India's manufacturing ambitions & its National Steel Policy targets for 2030.
