AMNS India's Audacious Advance & Hazira's High-Strength Hegemony
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India has started producing EQ70 grade high-strength welded steel pipes at its Hazira plant in Gujarat. EQ70 steel offers a minimum yield strength of six hundred and ninety megapascals, making it two to two-and-a-half times stronger than conventional structural steel. The development reduces India's reliance on imported high-strength pipes and supports the country's growing infrastructure and industrial sectors. It reflects the technological strength of the joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel.
